We’re excited to offer supportive discussion groups for researchers of all levels. Facilitated by Ute Brandenburg, we will ask questions, share ideas, and troubleshoot challenges, all while connecting with fellow researchers. You will have the opportunity to fill out an interest form so the facilitator can prepare to help you with your specific questions.

• Group Elbe meets on one Wednesday a month at 2:00 PM Eastern

• Group Rhein meets on one Wednesday a month at 8:00 PM Eastern (convenient for Australian researchers)

• Group Weser meets on one Saturday a month at 11:00 AM Eastern 

These groups take their names from three of the great German rivers that carried countless emigrants towards their new lives. Each group is open to those researching in any German-speaking region.

Meetings last 90 minutes and are not recorded. Participants register for three sessions at a time, with a maximum of five participants per group. The fee for each three-month session is $120.
